Exposure Enduro Maxx Battery Replacement Guide

Replacing the Li-Ion battery in the Exposure Enduro Maxx is a similar process to the battery replacement guide for the Joystick model, but with a larger capacity battery.

Before ordering a replacement battery, there are a couple of important points to consider:

  • If your light is still working but the run time has noticeably reduced, it is most likely that the battery has reached the end of its usable cycle life and requires replacement.
  • If the light is completely dead, the issue may not be the battery. Possible causes could include a fault with the control board located beneath the switch end or a failure of the LED unit itself.

If you decide to replace the battery yourself, replacement Li-Ion batteries are available from us and include heat-shrink tubing for protecting the solder joints during installation.

Please note:

  • The replacement process may result in scratches or cosmetic marks to the light body.
  • Before ordering a replacement battery, please ensure that you are able to remove (or have already removed) the bottom cap from your light.

This will confirm that the battery replacement process is possible before purchasing a new battery.
