Compatible Replacement Batteries

Unfortunately, we can no longer supply direct-compatible replacement batteries using the original leads, as these leads are no longer available to us.

However, you are welcome to send us your original battery and/or extension lead (if it has not been used or damaged), and we can reuse this lead when building your replacement battery.

Battery Rebuilds & Cell Replacement

We can replace the cells inside hard plastic or metal battery cases, with the possibility of achieving up to a 30% increase in the original capacity.

This is subject to:

• The original battery leads being in good working condition
• No signs of damage, breaks, or fatigue in the wiring

In some cases, the lead may have become worn where it exits the battery case. If possible, we can shorten the lead slightly to remove the fatigued section and make it usable again. A coiled battery lead option may also be available.

Light Lead Repairs

We can replace faulty light leads where:

• The existing battery lead or rebuilt battery lead is in good condition
• The fault is limited to the light lead

Please note that we do not hold additional spare parts for these lights, so repairs are limited to lead replacement where applicable.

Keeping Older Light Systems Running

For older light sets with worn or failing leads, we now offer a service to replace both the battery lead and light lead with standard-type connectors.

To carry out this work, we would require both the battery and the light unit to be sent to us. This upgrade gives you the flexibility to use your light with other more readily available 7.5V batteries in the future.

Light Head Only?

If you no longer have the original battery and only have the light head, you can still send the light head to us. We can replace the light lead at the same time as your battery order.
